3. Legal bases
Where data protection laws such as the GDPR apply to you, we rely on: your consent (newsletter, waitlists, analytics and marketing cookies, which you can withdraw at any time), performance of a contract (delivering what you bought), our legitimate interests (running and securing the site, answering enquiries) and legal obligations (accounting and tax records).
4. Who receives your data
We only share data with service providers we need to run Alchemize. They process it for us or under their own policies:
- All-Inkl (web hosting, Germany) hosts our website, our files and everything that runs on it, including our course software OptimizePress Mentor.
- KlickTipp (email marketing) runs our sign-up forms for the GoldLetter and the waitlists, sends the confirmation email (double opt-in), stores your subscriber details and sends our emails. The forms are protected against spam bots by a script that loads from KlickTipp's servers only when you click into a form. When you submit a form, your details go directly to KlickTipp. KlickTipp also records whether you open our emails and which links you click, so we can see what is useful and improve what we send. If you tick the optional GoldLetter box on a waitlist form, you are also added to the GoldLetter list. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.
- Stripe processes payments.
- YouCanBook.me handles discovery call bookings.
- Google Analytics and Google Search Console show us how the site is used (analytics only with your consent).
- Substack hosts our publication. If you subscribe there, Substack processes your email address and reading data under its own privacy policy, and we receive your subscriber details as the publisher.
- YouTube, Instagram and LinkedIn provide embedded videos, posts and buttons, if we use them on a page (only with your consent to external content).
- Meta pixel measures and improves our own advertising (only with your consent).
- WhatsApp (Meta) or Telegram host our group chats, if your program includes one. Other members can see your name or number and profile details, depending on the platform.
- AI assistants (Claude by Anthropic and ChatGPT by OpenAI) help us sort emails and draft replies (see section 8).
Substack, Google (including YouTube), Meta (including Instagram and WhatsApp), Telegram, LinkedIn, Anthropic, OpenAI and YouCanBook.me, among others, may process data in the United States. Where the law requires it, we rely on safeguards such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses. Our pages link to other platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn and Substack. They have their own privacy policies, and we have no control over how they handle your data. We do not sell your data for money. Advertising pixels, if you accept them, can count as "sharing" for advertising under some laws. You can switch them off at any time in the cookie settings.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
| Type | What it does | Your choice |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | Makes the site and your course login work. Also remembers your cookie choice in your browser. | Always on |
| Analytics | Google Analytics shows us which pages are visited and how. | Only with your consent |
| External content | Embedded YouTube videos, Instagram and LinkedIn content and buttons. These providers may set their own cookies. | Only with your consent |
| Marketing | The Meta pixel measures our ads and helps show them to relevant people. | Only with your consent |
Analytics, marketing tools and external content are loaded only after you accept them. You can change your choice any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page. Cookies already set may stay in your browser until you delete them there.
6. How long we keep data
We keep data only as long as we need it for the purposes above. Newsletter and waitlist data stays until you unsubscribe. Purchase and invoice records are kept for as long as accounting and tax laws require. After that we delete or anonymize the data.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, receive a copy, withdraw consent at any time and complain to a data protection authority. Depending on your country or state, other privacy laws may give you similar rights. Use the button in section 1 and tell us what you need. We may need to confirm your identity first.
You can unsubscribe from the GoldLetter or a waitlist at any time with the link at the bottom of every email.
8. Use of AI tools
We use AI tools to help us sort incoming emails and with automation tasks such as drafting replies. A person on our team always reviews and approves a reply before it is sent. We do not make decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects by purely automated means. We do not give AI tools more of your data than they need for the task. The tools we currently use are Claude (Anthropic) and ChatGPT (OpenAI).
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children
Our programs are for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18.
11. Changes
We may update this policy when our tools or the law change. The current version is always on this page.
